Simon Chaplin is the Chief Executive at Arcadia, a charitable foundation established by Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin. He also serves as a non-executive Director of the Wende Museum and is a member of the Advisory Board of MIT Press. Before joining Arcadia he was Executive Director of Culture & Society at the Wellcome Trust and the Director of Wellcome Collection. He has also served on the boards of Research Libraries UK, the British Society for the History of Science, and the Society for the History of Natural History.
